Asian Hosta

Renaat Souvagie is a well-known hosta breeder from the Belgian town Middelkerke. He names his cultivars "Asian." He has introduced many cultivars with red leaf stems and numerous variegated varieties... "It's important to me that people like my cultivars," says Renaat. And people really do like his cultivars...

Renaat has a large collection of hosta cultivars from around the world, but recently, his own cultivars have been taking precedence. "I am gradually reducing the number of other cultivars, mainly due to lack of space, and I would like 90% of my hosta collection to consist of my own cultivars in the near future." His plants are treasures in any hosta collection. It's not easy to obtain them because there is a great demand, and the number of plants is never large enough to meet the demand of growers. We have decided to include some Asian cultivars in our offer and help spread them to the gardens of as many hosta enthusiasts as possible.
