Heuchera Caramel comes from France. Sandrine Delabroy found this seedling in her garden in the north of France. The new Heuchera charmed her and her customers so much that it even received an American patent. Heuchera Caramel has light caramel brown to amber colored leaves. Robust and compact growth with large leaves. Individual plants form dense, semi-round bunches. In the summer, thin stems with a height of about 50-60 cm appear, on the tops of which bloom with small, beige to creamy white flowers. The leaves resist the frost well and are evergreen, the underside of the leaves is fuchsia pink.

They do best in classic perennial beds. Heuchera 'Blondie' is a long awaited novelty from Terra Nova Nurseries. It is a very compact cultivar with blue-red leaf coloring. Throughout the season attractive creme-yellow flowers appear on the plants. For its habitus is ideal for smaller gardens and containers. The breeder even states that it can be successfully grown indoors.
