Hemerocallis EveryDaylily ™ Pink Wing®. Under their registered trademark, EveryDaylily ™ Pink Wing® has been offering a series of dwarf, extremely richly blooming daylilies, since 2016. The clump is only about 35 cm high, bearing flowers of around 8 cm. EveryDaylily™ daylilies are fully frost-resistant, with an extended bloom time. These bright, hardy flowers bloom continually from early summer until the first frosts of fall. Most reblooming daylilies stop blooming for a certain period during the summer, but EveryDaylilies keep flowering during the entire season! After rooting well, mature specimens of EveryDaylily™ will produce 400 flowers a year. Plant these dwarf varieties in sun-filled borders, decorative pots or perennial beds and you will be treated to an explosion of blooms of lovely colors. They are also ideal for landscaping in parks and larger gardens, where they create a carpet of flowers from spring to autumn. Due to their size, they are also suitable for rock gardens. Flowers of this cultivar are bicolor, consisting of creamy pink and cream above a yellow throat . An improved offspring of Hemerocallis Stella d'Oro, with even more impressive hardiness and flower production.
How to grow daylilies
Reserve full sunlight or light shade area in your garden to plant daylilies. Daylilies like sunshine so much but be careful, in hot areas, they do not grow well in completely dry soil on sunny place. Daylilies also like an average amount of moisture in the soil but will not be happy in soils that are water logged. Give them water regularly during their first one or two growing seasons. Their flowers will be larger and will bloom richer if regularly watered in the first part of the season.
When in bloom, feel free to cut the flowers for bouquets or even decorating of salads (as the flowers are edible). This will not injure your plants. While each flower blooms only a single day, choose stems with several larger buds.
After blooming has finished, leave the foliage in place, don't cut it off. The leaves will gather sunlight and will provide nourishment for the next year's show. Your daylilies will need rest for a few months, before beginning the next growing season.
