Hemerocallis EveryDaylily ™ Gold®. Under their registered brand names, EveryDaylily ™ has been offering a range of dwarf, extremely free-flowering daylilies since 2016. The plant is only 35 cm high, with flowers of only 8 cm. EveryDaylily ™ daylilies are completely frost hardy, with an extended flowering season. Most re-blooming daylilies take a summer break, but EveryDaylily ™ daylilies bloom all season! When well-rooted, mature clumps of EveryDaylily ™ will produce 400 flowers a year. Plant these dwarf daylilies in sun-filled borders, decorative planters or perennial beds and you will be rewarded with an explosion of flowers in enchanting colors. These cultivars are also ideal for parks or larger gardens, where they can produce a carpet of flowers from spring to summer. Because of their small size, they are also suitable for rock gardens. The flowers of this variety are creamy yellow to creamy white with a green throat. An improved offspring of the famous Hemerocallis Stella d'Oro, with even more impressive resistance and flowering power.
How to grow daylilies
Reserve full sunlight or light shade area in your garden to plant daylilies. Daylilies like sunshine so much but be careful, in hot areas, they do not grow well in completely dry soil on sunny place. Daylilies also like an average amount of moisture in the soil but will not be happy in soils that are water logged. Give them water regularly during their first one or two growing seasons. Their flowers will be larger and will bloom richer if regularly watered in the first part of the season.
When in bloom, feel free to cut the flowers for bouquets or even decorating of salads (as the flowers are edible). This will not injure your plants. While each flower blooms only a single day, choose stems with several larger buds.
After blooming has finished, leave the foliage in place, don't cut it off. The leaves will gather sunlight and will provide nourishment for the next year's show. Your daylilies will need rest for a few months, before beginning the next growing season.
