Hakonechloa macra All Gold is one of the most gorgeous of ornamental grasses. It makes a dense clump of lemon yellow leaves. It is slower to grow. Combine it’s beautifully with Hostas as it has similar requirements. It likes shady or semi-shady place with a bit morning sun, it brings out the best color. It is hardy, but needs winter frost protection and it is not suitable for hardiness zone 5 and below.
