Brunnera Alexander's Great is a huge, striking perennial that will atract you by large, green dramatic silver-veined foliage creating an eye-catching efect within the garden. Siberian bugwoss comes from the Caucasus and north-eastern Turkey. It grows here in the forests in the elevation 500-1900 m. a. s. It blooms already in April. The clump is topped with plenty of small, delicate light blue flowers. It looks like woodland forget-me-not (Myosotis sylvatica). The cultivar 'Sea Heart' is characterized by its white mosaic on the leaves, which is even stronger than in the cultivar 'Jack Frost'. It likes semi-shade to shade place. It can grow in any soil, but it should be adequately supplied with water. It has a beautifully colored leaves so it is not decorative only during flowering time.
